Which Comes First, the Chicken or the Egg?
I know, this topic has been argued, bantered, discussed, ignored, debated, and has pushed our mental processes into ’tilt’ a few times. It’s the ultimate of unanswerable questions. How can we have a question without an answer? How is that possible?
We treasure our mental processes. These abilities elevate us above the other mammals. Over time we developed speech, giving us a method to share our thoughts with others. Our thoughts allow us to travel in time, experience events that have yet to happen, and transform a concept into something tangible. Our thoughts are the treasure chests of awareness.
The unanswerable question is the greatest of gifts. We are given the opportunity to explore what we know, and even step into the land of infinite possibilities. Finding the answer is nice, but it’s the end of the road. The question, though, is the doorway to spiritual evolution.
