Time and Time Again
No one likes this topic. It’s often packed with fully charged statements like “why does this keep happening to me?” Time and time again. Doesn’t anything change?
Earlier today I had a session with good friend on the East Coast. She commented on a man she knows, and I noticed one of his personality traits. “He’s really good at surfing on someone else’s wave”, I said. “Yeah, I know”, was her response. I continued with this stream of consciousness in order to bring it into grace. “This is one of his lessons in this life, you know. He’s going to repeat this tactic until he cracks the shell, or someone helps him crack it. He’s just doing what he needs to do so he can get to the next step.”
Sometimes our repetition is our hesitation to move forward, and sometimes it’s the method by which we create momentum. Time and time again is simply our process of stepping out of our shell.
